The Tax Collector is responsible for the collection of all Tax Bills for properties in the Town. All powers and duties of the Receiver of Taxes are defined in the New York State Real Property Tax Law.

Receiving your Tax Bills

Residents should receive their tax bills the first week in January.  If your tax bill is not received, please contact our office at  (585) 547-2274 ext. 1026. For School Tax information you need to contact your School District.

Failure to receive a property tax bill does not relieve the taxpayer of their responsibility to pay a tax bill or any resulting fees due at the time of payment, Real Property Tax Law 922.
